Who Wore It Better?

Have you ever seen two celeberties wearing the same outfit? But in the "Who Who Wore It Better" article in the magazine had the completely wearing opinion about the winner. Sometimes it's just about which person is more famous. Like really where did they take these poles? But here are some honest and classic...

                Who Wore It Better?

          #1

                             Or

#2

Honestly, this dress was made for a more shorter buyer. #1 is the shorter of the two. She is also tanner, which helps her keep the dress colors and pattern more balanced. She is also smart to strut the dark shoe. As in the case of #2, which is wearing more of a shinny nude shoe. And in her case, it does not comliment the dress as the dark shoe would always do a better job. # 2's wearing the more of heavier jewelry. But in this case, the dress it's self is a massive piece of jewels. The only thing that #2 won about is when she decided to rock the up doo. The long hair gets in the way of show-casing the dress. The back messy bun compliments her facial structure, and the dress very nicely. But even though #2 won the hair round, #1 won the height, shoe, and jewelry rounds. So the winner of the Who Wore It Better June of 2013 goes to... #1.

Please feel free to leave comments on who you think wore it better and why in the space given below.

Cramming Clothes Away

If your cramming all your clothes into those 5 little slots in your dresser. And have turned to almost weighing down your dresser with all your new summer clothes. But still have all the other seasoned styles, you have a couple options to expand your closet space.
1. Start hanging up more of your clothes in your closet to leave more space in your dresser.
~If you start hanging up more of your nicer outfits and folding away more if the more cosy house and lounging around clothes, then it seems to expand your wore-drobe a heck of a lot more!! And if you keep your closet door open, then you will see more colorful clothes and will add character to your space.
2. Get some plastic bins to store away with all your different seasoned clothes.
~Get 4 bins big enough to hold all of your different types of clothes for that season. That way all of your big and bulgy winter clothes don't take up space when you could be getting new summer clothes. And if each bin is filled with that type of clothing, then all you have in your dresser is the clothes in season. That way you now have a more spacious dresser and you might feel a bit more organized.

I hope that these tips will be helpful to all you readers out there, and that you will use some of them this summer. (:

Summer Trends on Budget!?!

Now, we all want the hottest trends for summer, but we can't afford them, right? Wrong. All you have to do is be smart with your money. Which is easy to do, by following this 3 steps. 1.) Budget. Set aside an amount that you are comfortable to spend on clothes, and stick to it. 2.) Just the Things Needed. Go though all you summer clothes, and just find this summer's essentials. That means if you have only one swim suit, you might want other. Instead, of buying your 500th cut-out t-shirt 3.) Self Control. In my case, I have about a million pairs of shorts, and I just found the cutest shorts ever in a store, also in my budget! In the back of my mind I know not to buy them, but to spend the money on something more useful for the summer.

Some of the summer's most popular trends are crop-top, but keep it classy by showing above the belly button. Everybody needs a little "Yellow" dress, the canary-color dress, is so the new black! Make a statement by adding  bright lips to your outfit. High Rise Shorts, with the high rise shorts you'll have the girl next door look. Head Scarfs, the easy hair do. By wrapping the scarves in to a wide headband, you will have a effortless glamorous look.

Here are just a few summer steals I found online.

Desert-Calling Crop Top Top. Price: $10.80 at Forever 21
Oasis Strip Crop Bra Top. Price: $64.00 at Oasis
Jessica Simpson V-Neck Fit & Flare Dress. Price: $59 at Nordstrom

Sweet Summmatime

If you've gone out of your house lately you would have noticed that the summer season is officially with us. That means that the time has come for the sweet, sweet smell of tanning oil, & string bikinis. lots of string bikinis. For fashion gurus, much like someone I know, but have absolutely no idea who it could possibly be, you're probably familiar with the bikini slideshow that Vogue releases every year. My top 5 out of the selection are...

French Connection butterfly swim top, $58, & side-tie bottoms, $48.
www.bloomingdales.com

Clover Canyon Lotus Temple bathing suit, $151. www.clovercanyon.com

Dolce & Gabbana lemon and foulard-print strong bikini. $815.
www.dolcegabbana.com

Carine Gilson bikini top, $435, and bottoms $290. www.net-a-porter.com

This next one has me on a fence. I normally don't like high waisted bottoms. This is an exception though. Because of the way they are slim-fitting to the waist area, almost with built in curves. This is the only high waited bikini that I don't hate.

Clube Bossa feline-print twist bandeau, & high-waisted bottoms. $362.
Saks 5th Ave. 212.753.4000
